In 2013, I was selected to create a public art piano for Keys 4/4 Kids, a live three-day painting event held at the Mall of America. My design—featuring an owl and an octopus in unexpected harmony—was completed in front of a live audience and later acquired by the Minnesota Children’s Museum. This project opened the door to larger-scale public art opportunities and marked a turning point in how I connect art, storytelling, and community.
