"Why women's history?"

No saints, no villains just women, doing their part.
Their stories rarely make it past the footnotes.
Uninvited from history’s grand halls unless they’re beautiful, tragic, or convenient. Their labor goes unseen, their art uncollected, their brilliance called luck. They hold families together, lead revolutions, file paperwork, plant gardens, nurse wounds, and hold their breath in rooms never meant for them.
Not heroes. Not monsters.
Just women forgotten not because they lacked value,
but because value was never theirs to assign.

These are the names we never knew, the voices never heard, the work never praised.
